Our Mission
Through a combination of open-source domain knowledge, strategic alliances and high quality project management expertise, the Centre of Excellence will conceptualize, commercialize and disseminate innovative, cost-effective and high quality ICT-enabled solutions to the business community, especially targeting Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises

Open Source Advocacy and Business Empowerment are important underlying tenets of our MIssion that willseek to realize the following Objectives:

• Promote the use of the FOSS model in local business and economic development.
• Promote the integration and adoption of FOSS in national policies
• Help to Develop and Promote FOSS expertise, creativity and industry within the University community, Jamaica and the Caribbean
• Partner with development organizations who share similar goals for the development of the Small Business Sector
